You can't talk about detox smoothie green smoothies without also talking about. Most detox smoothie recipes call for some kind of green leafy vegetable, like spinach, chard, or kale, which gives the smoothie its distinctive green color.
But don't be fooled by the bright green color. These green smoothie detox recipes taste great, and you usually can't taste the leafy vegetables. And a green smoothie cleanse is the best way to lose weight quickly.

Green Protein Detox Smoothie
• ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
• 1 tablespoon almond butter
• 1 banana
• 2 cups mixed greens (I like kale, chard and spinach)

Glowing Green Detox Smoothie
• 1 kiwi
• 1 banana
• ¼ cup pineapple
• 2 celery stalks
• 2 cups spinach
• 1 cup water

Apple Berry Detox Smoothie
• 1 cup mixed berries (like raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries)
• 1 large apple
• 2 cups spinach
• 1 cup water (or unsweetened almond milk)

Pineapple Banana Detox Smoothie
• 1 cup pineapple
• 1 banana
• 1 apple
• 2 cups spinach
• 1 cup water
Kale Detox Smoothie Recipes
Some people call kale a "superfood," which means that it has a lot of important vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. In fact, it’s considered to be one of the most nutritious plants in existence.
Kale doesn’t always taste the best because it can be rather strong for some, but if you combine it with the right ingredients it can be a delicious and healthy addition to any green detox smoothie recipe.
Also, only use the leaves and throw away the stems. This will get rid of most of the bitter taste.

Kale and Apple Green Detox Smoothie
• ⅔ cup almond milk (unsweetened)
• ¾ cup ice
• 1 ½ cups kale (chopped)
• 1 stalk celery (chopped)
• ½ red or green apple (cored and chopped)
• 1 tbsp ground flax seed
• 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Kale Pineapple Coconut Detox Smoothie
• 1 banana
• 1 cup pineapple
• 1 cup coconut water
• 2 cups kale (chopped)

Kale Strawberry Banana Detox Smoothie
• 1 banana
• 1 cup yogurt (plain)
• 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
• 1 cup Kale (chopped)
• 1 cup ice
Avocado Detox Smoothie
When it comes to healthy foods, avocados are one of the best "super foods". Avocados are full of nutrients that are good for you, like vitamins B, C, K, folate, potassium, and more.
Studies have shown that avocados can help improve the health of your heart, reduce inflammation in your joints, protect your eyes, make your bones stronger, and even help you lose weight.
A smoothie made with avocados is a healthy way to get the benefits of avocados without having to taste them.

• 1 - 1/2 cups apple juice
• 2 cups spinach or kale (stemmed and chopped)
• 1 apple (unpeeled, cored, and chopped)
• 1/2 avocado (chopped)
Combine the apple juice, spinach, apple, and avocado in a blender and puree until smooth, about 1 minute.
Adding water to reach the desired consistency.
Metabolism Boosting Green Smoothie

This is a twist on the classic green smoothie recipe. It's a recipe for a spinach smoothie that goes well with the delicious flavors of strawberry and oranges (always a yummy combination). Smoothies with spinach are some of my favorite green smoothies.
The secret to boosting your metabolism is the almond milk, which has more protein and is creamier. Studies have shown that protein increases the thermic effect of food (TEF) because it takes more calories to digest it. This raises your metabolic rate.
• 1 orange peeled
• ⅓ cup strawberries
• 1 cup raw spinach
• 1 cup almond milk

Grown Up Strawberry Banana Green Smoothie
If you are just starting out with green smoothies, this is another great recipe. The taste is amazing, and you can't really taste the spinach because smoothies with spinach tend to have a milder flavor. Most of the time, all you can taste is banana and strawberry, with a hint of vanilla.
Most fruit smoothie recipes taste mostly like fruit, and this is one of the best green smoothie recipes I know.
Bananas are very good for you and taste great. They have a lot of important nutrients and help with digestion, heart health, and losing weight.

Apple Pie Smoothie
This is a really healthy vegetable smoothie recipe. The apple pie spices and vanilla give it a very unique taste. It's one of my favorites to make in the Fall because it reminds me of apple pie.
Apples are rich in fiber, vitamin C, and many antioxidants. They are also filling and have a low number of calories. Studies have shown that eating apples is good for your health in many ways.

Electric Green Smoothie
This is a delicious green smoothie recipe that has a really bright green color. It’s full of vitamin C thanks to the double dose of pineapple and oranges.
Pineapples are a good source of many nutrients, such as vitamin C, manganese, copper and folate. Pineapples also contain a plant compound called bromelain, which is associated with many health benefits, such as improved immunity, fighting cancer, faster wound healing and better gut health.

This is one of my favorite detox smoothie recipes for a weight-loss cleanse.
Not only does it taste great, it also helps speed up your metabolism.
People often call broccoli a "super veggie" because it is so healthy. It has a lot of good things for you, like vitamin C, vitamin K, fiber, potassium, and iron. Broccoli also has more protein than most other vegetables, which gives you an extra metabolic boost.
• ½ cup strawberries
• ¼ cup pineapple
• 1 cup broccoli florets
• 1 teaspoon honey
• 1 almond milk

Sweetie Pie Green Smoothie
This Sweetie Pie Green Smoothie is one of my favorite green smoothies recipes when I want to change up my greens. It tastes amazing and is full of antioxidants and other nutrients.
Peas are very good for you. Due to their high fiber and protein content, they are very filling. This may reduce how much food you eat and can lead to weight loss in the long term

Crisp Mango Cucumber Green Smoothie
This is really tasty fruit smoothie that’s got a light creamy texture and great flavor. It contains lots of antioxidants and other beneficial nutrients.
Mangoes contain soluble fiber and a wide range of antioxidants, as well as high amounts of vitamin A (from beta-carotene) and vitamin C.

Green Tropical Sunrise
This is another fantastic recipe that is full of antioxidants and vitamins. It has a slightly sweet flavor, with a little tanginess from the pineapple and orange.
Carrots have a number of health benefits. They are a good source of beta-carotene, fiber, vitamin K, potassium, antioxidants and have been linked to lower cholesterol levels and improved eye health.

THIS ONE IS KID FRIENDLY!!!
Kale is one of the healthiest and most nutritious plant foods in existence. It has a low calorie content, it’s an excellent source of vitamin C, and even helps fight cancer.
• ½ cup cherries
• ½ cup blueberries
• 1 cup fresh kale
• 2 teaspoons honey
• 1 cup almond milk
I recommend you use fresh ingredients for this green smoothie recipe, but you can also use frozen fruits and vegetables
if fresh isn’t available. Just be sure to get organic both in frozen and fresh produce for your fruit smoothie recipes. If you’re cleansing your body, you don’t want to be adding in pesticides while you do it!
Get creative with ingredients in your green smoothies, try a 2 to 1 ratio (2 vegetables to 1 fruit) to ensure super yummy green smoothies.
